Campaigns spending a certain amount of money must file regular reports with the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission (NADC). The NADC then makes this information available to the public. Public disclosure helps to ensure that campaigns are not doing anything elicit with their campaign donations and spending.
Forms and reporting rules and regulations, as well as contributions and spending, can all be found at the NADC's website. At the time of filing, the Election Commission provides candidates the NADC forms that are necessary to file for office; however, the Election Commission cannot assist candidates in completing NADC forms or answer questions regarding campaign finance.
